AAU (also called travel ball) is competitive club basketball. Instead of playing the same neighborhood kids each week, your child competes against the best players from other cities at weekend tournaments, a big step up from rec or school ball.

AAU Practice Schedule
Team practice schedules vary by age group and team level.
Level Up 8U / 9U
Ages: 8U - 9U4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Mandatory Team Practice
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

What we expect from our athletes
Attention: AAU Practice Policy
Practice is mandatory. If a player misses practice, they will lose their playing time and even their spot on the team if they are being inconsistent. It is important to show up, learn all the plays and defensive concepts, and build team chemistry.

Important Information for Families
- Team assignments and game schedules will be shared with families once they are officially released by the tournament organizers.
- Players should arrive at least one hour before every scheduled game unless their coach provides different instructions.
- All players must bring their complete Level Up Hoops Academy uniform, basketball shoes, water, and any additional equipment requested by their coach.
- Tournament dates, locations, and schedules are subject to change. Families will be notified as soon as updates become available.

Cost & Commitment
$700 per month with a 6 month seasonal commitment. This is a full-season commitment to the Level Up AAU program.
